My name is Chienyu Jade Yi, and I go by “Jade.” I was born and received my early education in Taiwan. In my twenties, I studied in Japan and later in the U.S., where I met my husband, Hector. Both he and I are ordained ministers under the ELCA. Our daughter, Sofia, is now married to Paul, and they live with us in Edmonds. Recently, they adopted Henry, a joyful puppy from the Rescue Center. And he’s already brought so much joy to our life together.
